February 25th – The Peachtree Tavern was the place to be. The Six Shot Revival held one of the best parties The Backstage Beat had seen in a while.

They released their newest album, ” Greatest Hits Volume 1″ -
Hot and Sweaty.  Loud and Dirty.  This night was one that will go down in the books!  The Backstage Beat urges you to follow these talented guys as they make music and a serious name for themselves in Atlanta and around the world.

Opening the night was The Dead Rabbits.  We were amazed that such sound could come from 2 people!!! Check them out at their next show March 12th at The Masquerade!

After The Dead Rabbits, The Dreaded Marco took the stage and really prepared the crowd to get rocked.  The Dreaded Marco is fastly becoming one of the best bands in Atlanta with these key players involved:

Charlie Sheets – Lead vox/Rhythm guitar/Cowbell
Dixie Duncan – Lead guitar/Backing vox/Organ
Mike Froedge – Drums/Engineering
Scott Williams – Bass

Thanks again to Bradley Jordan, Justin Brummit and Chris Stanley for the amazing hospitality from The Peachtree Tavern.
